  • 3 tablespoons sweet almond oil
  • 2 teaspoons beeswax pearls
  • 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 8 drops of vitamin E oil
  • 4 drops lemon essential oil
  • 3 drops tangerine essential oil
  • Large pot
  • Spoon
  • Electric mixer
  • Small glass jars

    How to Make Citrus Lip Gloss

  1. Step 1

    Melt the beeswax and the almond oil on the stove. Keep the heat on medium and stir constantly to keep the beeswax from scorching while it melts. You are done melting when there are no lumps left in the mixture.

    Stir in honey and vitamin E. Use the spoon for this step. Everything should mix together to form a creamy, yellowish liquid.

    Aloe vera gel is made from the aloe plant. This plant's leaves have cool, refreshing qualities.

    Pour the lip gloss mixture into the glass jar. It will take several hours to set up. Store it in a cool, dry place and use it whenever you feel like your lips need a little extra protection.
