The library is a wonderful source of books, but when you want to build your own collection, there are better places than the bookstore to go looking.

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet
  • Used books
  1. Step 1

    Gather up the books that you own and no longer wish to retain.

  2. Step 2

    Join Paperbackswap.com. The registration is very simple.

  3. Step 3

    List your books on paperbackswap.com.

  4. Step 4

    Request books with the two free requests that you get just for listing your first ten books!

  5. Step 5

    Mail books when they are requested, and earn tokens to request more books for yourself.

  6. Step 6

    Read and relist books that you don't want to keep.

  7. Step 7

    Buy tokens if you ever run out of

Tips & Warnings
  • Buy tokens if you run out of requests and find a book that you would love to own.
  • Look into options like the box-o-books if you are a more voracious reader.
  • Tell your friends! The more books that are listed, the more you can read for only the cost of shipping your own books out.
