Experience growing plants from seeds. It really becomes your plant as you care for it and watch it mature.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • digging tool
  • feritle soil
  • seeds
  • water

Step1
seeds stored in jars Seeds are less expensive than the actual plants. Select the seeds you want to grow from a garden store.
Step2
seedlings Loosen up your soil and place each seed in the dirt as deep as the seed is big. Example: If your seed is a sunflower seed about 1/2 inch, then plant about 1/2 inch deep and cover with dirt.
Step3
Sunflowers from seed Water throughly, fertilize a little and keep soil wet for about 1-2 weeks. Then let nature take its course and watch your plant grow.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some smaller more delicate plants should be started inside in containers first and transplanted outside after threat of frost.
  • Be very cautious not to plant too deep or they won't germenate.
  • Plant outside after threat of frost.
