Things You'll Need:
- toddler with hairbrush stuck in her hair (don't forget her)
- wire cutters
- bottle of de-tangling spray
- pick or rat-tail comb (a pencil or skewer work, if worse comes to worse)
- something to keep aforementioned toddler from squiggling and/or whining while you're TRYING to be patient
-
Step 1
Get the toddler distracted.
-
Step 2
Using the wire-cutters, clip off bristle of the brush. Yes, it's going to take a while and you might want to ice your hand after.
-
Step 3
Once all the bristles are off, absolutely douse the stuck hair with the detangling spray.
-
Step 4
Use the pick, rat-tail comb, or other long-skinny-pokey-thing to ease the hair out. Don't bother with the one-strand-at-a-time method. Just work on loosening the hair knot that the brush is in the center of and everything will come out just dandy.
