How to learn to scuba dive.

Seeing all the wondrous creatures caused me to get certified as a diver so I could join their world.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

• Snorkel
• Mask
• Fins

1. You should be a fair to good swimmer. Learn how to snorkel.
2. Once you have mastered that seek out a scuba shop. Ask to have a resort course. Here they will get you comfortable with the equipment in a pool. When that is done, you will gear up with an instructor and get you in the shallow water. I would suggest someplace warm like Florida or the Caribbean.
3. This course will not certify you, but it will let you know if you want to become certified diver, without a lot of an investment.
4. The Open water course is taught at any good Scuba shop. It can be as short as 4 full days or up to a twelve (one night) a week course.
5. The basic open water course is the only one you need to a certified diver. Available is advanced all the way to master diver or instructor.

• When you get certified rent you equipment for a while.
