How to remove candle wax from candle holders

Don't you just hate that left over candle wax in the bottom of the votive/candle holder? No need to buy a new one. Here is a quick and easy way to remove it and save the candle holder.

Difficulty: Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• freezer
• Butter knife
• Patience

1. Put the candle holder with the remaining melted candle wax into the freezer.

2. Allow time for the wax to freeze. (This will depend on how much wax was left over).

3. Once you are satisfied the wax is frozen, remove from freezer. Turn upside down and tap the bottom of the container.

4. You can loosen the wax and "pop" it out whole with the assistance of a butter knife, screwdriver or ball point pen.

5. 

   Once you remove the wax~wash with mild dish soap and warm/hot water. Now you can enjoy your candle holder which is good as new.

Tips & Warnings

• Allow the wax to freeze. Leaving it overnight is best.
• When you take the candle holder out of the freezer tap it upside down in the kitchen sink. (This usually loosens it)
• Be careful and proceed with caution utilizing step 4
