Don't you just hate that left over candle wax in the bottom of the votive/candle holder? No need to buy a new one. Here is a quick and easy way to remove it and save the candle holder.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Put the candle holder with the remaining melted candle wax into the freezer.

  2. Step 2

Allow time for the wax to freeze. (This will depend on how much wax was left over).

  3. Step 3

Once you are satisfied the wax is frozen, remove from freezer. Turn upside down and tap the bottom of the container.

  4. Step 4

You can loosen the wax and "pop" it out whole with the assistance of a butter knife, screwdriver or ball point pen.

  5. Step 5

Once you remove the wax~wash with mild dish soap and warm/hot water. Now you can enjoy your candle holder which is good as new.

Tips & Warnings
  • Allow the wax to freeze. Leaving it overnight is best.
  • When you take the candle holder out of the freezer tap it upside down in the kitchen sink. (This usually loosens it)
  • Be careful and proceed with caution utilizing step 4
