Have you ever sprinkled glitter onto wet nail or toenail polish to add a little glitz to your manicure/pedicure? Seems like a fabulous idea and looks great....but removing it...thats another story altogether...

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • salad bowl
  • bottle of nail polish remover (usually can get one for 99 cents at any grocery or dollar store)
  • about 10 q-tips
  • about 3 tissues
  1. Step 1

Pour the entire contents of the nail polish remover into the bowl. Place your toes in the bowl. You need to use the entire bottle to ensure that your toes are completely covered. Wait 2 minutes.

  2. Step 2

You can either keep your foot in the water and brush off the polish/glitter with the qtip while its still in the bowl...OR you can take it out and immediately and just wipe it right off. Either way it will come off IMMEDIATELY..which..if you have ever had glitter polish on your nails or toes you realize this is NOT an easy thing to do.

  3. Step 3

It seems wasteful, but if you wait about 3 minutes the glitter will all settle to the bottom of the bowl and you are able to use the cap of the nail polish remover to scoop mostly all of the nail polish remover into the bottle. So you barely end up using any at all, and this process will save you the 20-30 minutes you would have otherwise spent scrubbing and scrubbing!

Tips & Warnings
  • it is preferable to use a bowl you don't use for food. nail polish remover stinks and i'm pretty sure its poison...
