How to Meet Women Who Enjoy Hunting
The thrill of the kill would be that much more thrilling if you could share it with a significant other. Even though we have supermarkets and no longer need to hunt to survive, reports indicate the sport is becoming more popular than ever before, and it’s not just for men anymore. You can meet women who enjoy hunting by following a few simple tips.

1
Join a local hunting or outdoors group. You can find out if they exist by contacting your area’s wildlife chapter or asking around in hunting and outdoor supply stores. This will give you an instant host of people to meet, perhaps one of them will be the woman of your hunting dreams.
-
2
Approach women browsing the hunting supply aisles in neighborhood stores. This could be at your outdoors shop, gun store or even the bookstore or library’s hunting book section. Don’t be shy. You’ve got a great conversation starter with, “What do you hunt?” You can also start a conversation by recommending books or supplies.

Read hunting and outdoor magazines and other publications, looking for articles and letters to the editor written by women. Contact the publication’s publisher, write a letter in response or track down the woman’s address to call or write her to say what a well-written piece she'd done and ask if she would like to go hunting sometime. You can also check for hunting books written by women and use the same process.

Stand near a fresh kill. When you’re out in the woods and see a fallen deer, hang out a bit to see who comes to claim it. If it’s a beautiful woman, tell her what a great shot that was and ask her to dinner-of venison, of course. If it’s a burly man, tell him what a great shot that was and get out of there.
-
5
Offer to speak at women’s groups to share your experience with hunting. One group around since 1990, Becoming an Outdoors-Woman, has local chapters everywhere filled with gals who want to experience the great outdoors. You can also pick something as benign as a make-up party and see where it leads you. Perhaps your sharing with the group will entice some of the women to try it and you can help infuse a new woman with enthusiasm for the sport.

Tips & Warnings
Just because a woman enjoys hunting doesn’t mean she doesn’t also enjoy courtesy, decency and respect. Treat her like the woman she is.
Many women get into hunting through their husbands or boyfriends. If that's the case with a woman you meet, make sure those people have an "ex" in front of their titles.
Don’t try to be macho hunting man. These women know what the sport is all about.
Don’t make dumb jokes about a bleeding Bambi.
