Things You'll Need:
- One large pillar candle
- Two white votive candles
- Straight pin or sewing needle
- Mug
- Love potion recipe (your favorite or mix a bland as detailed below)
- 2 teaspoons of loose-leaf black tea
- 1/8 teaspoon each of nutmeg, thyme, cinnamon, and rosemary
- Two fresh leaves each of mint, and lemon
- Two cups of plain water (tap or unflavored bottled water)
- One teaspoon of sugar or honey

Choose a special time to create your love potion because timing is crucial for a love spell to work correctly. Any Friday night between 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m., is fine while the moon is waxing. A love potion is essentially a special tea, which is brewed at a certain time and drunk while reciting some very important words.

Carve your own name and the name of someone you wish to make fall in love with you in the large white pillar candle and light it, and set it on a tabletop so that it can burn safely. Light the votive candles from the large white pillar and set them on either side of the white pillar candle.
