This article tells you how to get the most for your money when shopping all year, not just when there is a sale.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • coupons
Step1
Sign up for the mail list at your favorite store(s). Ask and make sure they have coupons. My favorite store is the Avenue clothing store. This store evens sends you a birthday card with a coupon in it. Make sure when you get coupons that you put them in a purse or wallet that you always carry with you whenever you go shopping.
Step2
Decide how much money you can afford to spend. You don't want to spend every penny you have, only to just be able to look at your purchases when you want entertainment.
Step3
Decide what items you need before you leave the house You probably won't be too excited if you don't get the things you need as well as the things you want.
Step4
When you get to the store, make a beeline for the back of the store. You will notice that the higher the discount the further in the back of the store you will find the item. Now work your way to the front or shop until all of your money is gone, whichever you prefer. Good luck and happy shopping.

Tips & Warnings

  • Get coupons online as well as in the store.

on 8/8/2008 I've been following a new blog with sales and styles for men. It might work if it's continued in the long run. We'll see. http://menhateshopping.blogspot.com

on 6/23/2008 Great advice, going directly to sell items and skipping temptation of full price items is a great way to save.
