Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Be in a baseball fantasy league.
-
Step 1
If you are involved in an auto draft then it is all luck in who you actually get. First pointer to realize is you DO NOT have to keep anyone just because they were originally drafted by you.
-
Step 2
Second pointer to winning your league is to understand that most of the people who lead there respective fantasy leagues (with me being included in this bunch), you can look to see how many roster moves they have made and usually they are tops or close to being there in the league.
-
Step 3
Next, now that you can see those who lead make changes, is to MAKE ROSTER MOVES!!! Did you know you can scour the waiver wire or the available free agents and make a team just composing of them and you would have a good chance of winning your league?
-
Step 4
Making roster moves is just one step, but don't be afraid of constant change, as the lineup you choose daily will make an impact by the season's end, so always be looking for ways to improve your lineup. Do some comparative shopping with those already on your roster, and the available free agents. I.E. I have picked up Cliff Lee, Nate McClouth, Edinson Volquez, Joe Saunders, and Josh Hamilton all on the free agent board and they are all having terrific years.
-
Step 5
Lastly, constant change is good but also don't be afraid to take some of the winning pieces you might have found on the free agent market and attempt to trade them to other people in your league. It never hurts to try and get max value from a person who has shown they have done it in the past compared to those who are simply on a hot streak.
