1
Stretch your arms out before you play. Like all active Wii games, No More Heroes can be tiring if you don't stretch first. Always make sure your play area is clear and the strap is securely fastened before you start playing.
-
2
Use all your moves. There's more you can do besides slashing with your beam katana. You can do stun kicks and wrestling moves, both of which are instrumental in bringing down certain types of bad guys. Use them!

3
Get away from enemies before you recharge your beam katana. While it doesn't take that long to recharge, enemy attacks can interrupt your recharge. Make sure you pull back a ways before trying to recharge.
-
4
Lock on to single enemies. This will make attacking them a lot easier. You can still hit multiple enemies when you are locked onto a single one, but they must be a lot closer for it to work.
-
5
Keep an eye out for loot. There are different colored chests interspersed throughout the missions. Some contain health recharges, others contain a battery charge for your beam katana and others are filled with cash or loot. Grab all of them if you see them unless you're in a boss fight. There will almost always be a health and battery recharge box in every boss fight. Save them until you need them.
-
6
Use a save point if you get a change. You never know when someone will take you by surprise and bring you down. When that happens, the last thing you want is to get punted back several hours.
