Proper skincare is essential for clear skin. Harsh cleansers and overscrubbing, does more harm then good when it comes to acne. Contrary to popular belief, squeezing a pimple will not make it go away, but can damage the skin and leave a scar when the pimple is gone.Infomercials and high priced ads have flooded us with products that claim to clear the skin and remove redness. Don't fall prey to these products. They may seem to work great, but after a while, the situation usually returns. There are some home remedies that work just as well, and cost much less. The following steps will assist you in how to reduce pimple redness.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Ice cubes
  • Small plastic bag
  • eyedrops
  • Makeup concealer
Step1
Wrap an ice cube in a small plastic bag.
Step2
Apply the ice cube directly to the pimple.
Step3
Hold the ice cube on the pimple for 2 to 3 minutes.
Step4
Remove the ice cube and squeeze a few drops of the eyedrop solution onto your pimple.
Step5
Let dry for a few minutes, and with your finger, gently apply a dab of makeup concealer. There should be no sign of redness from the pimple for the next few hours.
Step6
Repeat the process as often as necessary.

Tips & Warnings

  • Only apply the ice for a few minutes. Longer applications of ice could damage the skins cells.
  • Do not squeeze your pimples! It could scar!
