Movavi Video Suite allows you the chance to save all your files onto a blank media disc by burning the files onto the available space. This is an excellent choice if you have too many files on your computer and need to free up some space on your hard drive. The more space you have, the faster your computer will run. It’s easy to use the Movavi Video Suite and all you really need to have on hand is the software and a blank media disc.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Movavi Video Suite
  • Blank DVD or CD disc
  1. Step 1

Install the Movavi Video Suite from the website listed here. You need the program on your computer before you can start working with it. Run the program by selecting the Run option and follow the prompts when given.

  2. Step 2

Place a blank CD or DVD in your drive. The disc must be blank or rewritable for the program to notice it and allow you to save your work to the disc.

  3. Step 3

Click on your Movavi Video Suite icon to start the program and look for the Data option on the screen that appears. You can find this listed in the tabs at the top of the screen.

  4. Step 4

Select the folder icon to create a new folder to save your work. If you’re working from an existing project you can skip this step unless you want to save your work under a new name.

  5. Step 5

Look for the files and folders that you want to save or work with on your computer. Click each one and drag it to the Content Area on your screen with your mouse.

  6. Step 6

Press the Start button from the icons listed. This causes the program to begin saving your files in a centralized location. When the program asks you where you’d like to save the files, select your blank disc. This causes the program to start burning those files to your disc.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep an eye on your remaining space as you drag the files into the Content Area. If you try to burn more files to the disc than it has space for, it will cut off your work.
  • Watch the status bar to see how much time it will take to burn your disc. This gives you an idea of how much time you have left before the disc is done.
