Talk. Before dating someone, talk to them as much as possible. See if the person is someone you are willing to date while spending your time in a Christian school.

Become friends. Once you find someone in your school whom you would like to date, be friends with the person first. That way you will develop a trust with them, and people will see you as friends before you start dating. That will make the transition to dating easier.

Date in groups. In order to get approval to date, you may need to start out by dating in groups. Find other friends who want to date and hang out in groups. Go to multiple activities together until everyone is comfortable with individual dating.

Treat each other with respect. Remember that you are at a Christian school, and people may not have the same ideas as you when it comes to dating. Respect the values of the person you are trying to date and demand respect for yourself.

Pray about your situation. Take what going to a Christian school has taught you, and pray for the answers. You will find the person you are supposed to be dating in your school.
