How to Use Technorati to Bookmark Websites
Technorati is an interactive blog sharing system that allows users to tag articles for inclusion in Technorati search results. You can bookmark websites for future reference by signing up at the Technorati website, entering a URL of a website into your Favorites, and referring back to them whenever the website is updated. The process is quite simple, and you can even use your Technorati membership to help boost the popularity of the websites you visit.

Sign up for a Technorati membership. The signup is free. You need to supply a valid email address and a preferred user name and password. You will then be instructed to choose a few topics that interest you, so that the Technorati system can recommend good reading material for you.

Once you are enrolled, go to your Favorites. The "Favorites" link is located near the top of the Technorati website when you are logged in. Click on that link.

Once inside your Favorites, notice the two fields to the left allowing you to enter a URL and some descriptive tags for any web page. This feature will serve as your bookmarks within Technorati. Enter in a valid URL of any web page, and then enter in some tags. For example, if the website is about women's health, enter "womens, health, fitness" or something similar. This will allow you to search your bookmarks later.

To view your bookmarked Favorites within Technorati at any time, simply click on Favorites near the top of the Technorati website when you are logged in. You can choose to view "Posts from Favorites" or "Favorite Blogs". The former will allow you to view individual blog entries within the bookmarked website if it is a blog. The latter is just a list of the websites you enjoy reading.
