How to Fix a Crooked Nose

  1. Step 1

Visit an Otolaryngologist. These are the doctors that will perform rhinoplasty on your nose. They actually change the shape of your nose.

  2. Step 2

Breathing with difficulty might constitute your health insurance provider actually covering the procedure because it goes from cosmetic surgery to a medical procedure.

  3. Step 3

Fixing a crooked nose requires the surgeon to have to target the nasal bones as well as the septum. To fix a deviated septum, your cosmetic surgeon may remove a portion of the septum or place tiny incisions in it to realign it.

Tips & Warnings
  • This is a relatively unpleasant surgery so make sure that it is high on your priority list before really considering it.
  • If you are having difficulty breathing it may be covered under your health insurance.
  • The cost without insurance is around $5,000
  • Make sure that you see a qualified and certified physician for this procedure. This is not the time to try and save a few hundred dollars.
