  • Gold jewelry stamped with a karat symbol of some sort

    Begin with common sense

  1. Step 1

    Take the jewelry to an appraiser or a jewelry store that specializes in selling used gold to have it appraised.

  2. Step 2

    Take the jewelry that is at least 10 karat gold to either Twin City Gold or Main Gold and Silver to see how much they will give you for it.

  3. Step 3

    Compare the prices at several pawn shops to see how much they will offer you for it.

  4. Step 4

    Sell your gold to the highest bidder and if they don't buy precious stones, remove the stones before you sell.

  5. Step 5

    Collect the cash.
