How to Make a Tanning Bed
Sunless tanning is quite popular nowadays. However continuous tanning can be to be very expensive. Constructing your own tanning salon is not only less expensive in the long run but also much more convenient. Does this Spark an idea?

- choke ballast
- fluorescent lamps
- lamp starter
- acrylics
- miniature fans
- bed

Select a bed type that you would like and will be comfortable in. Set this up near an outlet.

Install fluorescent lamps on the top and bottom levels of the bed. Make sure these are well screwed in. Choose the strength carefully but know that you will lose some strength through the protective liners.

Install the choke ballast and lamp starter. The choke ballast is a simple inductor which will limit the amount of currents passing through at any one time.

Place an acrylic liner on both the top and bottom. Screw it in for security. Install mini fans at the foot and head sections to prevent overheating and provide a nice relief while tanning. You can also install misters or fans with misters if you so choose. Good luck and enjoy tanning!
