How to Date Without a Sitter

Often times kids keep you on your toes. Kids can make a relationship one that is difficult to keep alive. This is even more true if you don't have a sitter for a little gown up time. But, even without a sitter you can have a good night in, a date that can revive the fires and remind you of your relationship.

Things You’ll Need:

• Creativity.

1. Bring the romance. Romance can come in a huge array of different looks. It doesn't have to cost much, but start the night out right. Each of you get dressed up like you are going out. Take a little extra time and prepare for your date.
2. Order something in (pizza really does work) or make dinner for the two of you together.
3. Get the kids in bed. Once the kids are down for the night, let the romance begin.
4. Eat dinner, just the two of you over candle light. Open a bottle of wine or champaign or make cocktails.
5. Watch a movie together. Pick something you have seen before for a cuddling time or pick a romance. Something soft and gooey!
6. Make out like teenagers. Often we need to remember what it means to be young again. Make out on the couch like teenagers.
7. Spice it up. You can get creative and have a good old time. Include a massage, try it in the living room, or even the shower.
8. Finish the perfect night with a warm shower were you bathe each other.

Tips & Warnings

• Get creative. You don't have to follow all the suggestions, they are only a starting point.
• Dating your significant other is important, even if you are dating in!
• Do a lot of talking as well as snuggling on your date. This is good for both of you.
• Don't talk about problems, stresses, family members, or even the kids. This is about the two of you. Keep it that way!
