Cellphone ring tones allow you to really personalize your phone experience. When someone calls, you can hear a unique ring tone rather than just a boring, standard ring. Ring tones come in thousands of different varieties, including all your favorite songs. They don't have to cost you a fortune either. You can send free ring tones to your cellphone.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Search online for websites that offer free ring tones. You should get a wide variety of solid results.

  2. Step 2

Browse a few of these sites and ultimately choose one that doesn't require any registration. Some websites want you to register so they can add you to their email lists and other services. If you do use a website that requires registration, make sure you opt out of any extra services as well as email lists.

  3. Step 3

Browse the free ring tones inventory on the site you choose. Ring tones are often categorized according to type of songs. You should find a wide range of choices, ranging from rap and hip-hop to country and folk music.

  4. Step 4

Decide on which ring tones you like best.

  5. Step 5

Enter your cellphone number and choose your cellular service provider. Most websites will feature a drop-down list from which you can choose your provider. Otherwise, type it into the space provided. Once you enter your information, the ring tones you chose will be sent to your cellphone.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can have multiple ring tones sent to your phone. You can choose to have one universal ring tone that sounds at every call, or you can customize your phone so different ring tones sound when specific people call.
  • Beware of any site that asks for your credit card information, even if it states the ring tones are free.
