  • Aloe
  • Angelica
  • Asafoetida
  • Cactus
  • Echinacea
  • Fumitory
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Rosemary
  • Rowan
  • Sage
  • Salt

    How to Use Herbs and Spices to Heal

  1. Step 1

    Remove negativity. Asafoetida, cactus, and fumitory all fight negativity but asafetida has a strong odor so should be used sparingly. Fumitory specifically helps to fight negative thoughts.

  2. Step 2

    Purify with herbs. Burning sage is attributes with cleansing powers and salt has a long tradition as a preservative and a cleanser. Burning sage sticks will cleanse the air and environment of negativity. Covering specific problem areas with salt can purify them.

  3. Step 3

    Protect your psyche. Angelica, Garlic, Rowan, and Yarrow all offer varying degrees of psychic protection. Use Garlic and Rowan to protect your home and angelica to protect yourself personally.

  4. Step 4

    Healing wounds with herbs. Make a compress with aloe or echinacea are great for treating burns and scrapes. Aloe has skin rejuvenating powers that allow the skin to rehydrate and heal while echinacea is packed with energy.

  5. Step 5

    Have some tea. Try some tea to calm your tummy. Angelica and aloe enhanced tea are both attributed to helping with digestive problems. Try some tea to improve your memory. Tea with rosemary is reported to have memory enhancing qualities. Try tea to boost energy. Ginger and Echinacea enhanced teas are great energy boosters.
