Locating Horn on 1995 Dodge Neon

  1. Step 1

Loosen the lug nuts on the front tire on the driver's side of the car.

  2. Step 2

Jack up the vehicle, making sure it's high enough to clear the jack stands.

  3. Step 3

Securely place the jack stands under the vehicle.

  4. Step 4

Remove the tire from the car, and, if necessary, remove the inner wheel lining to allow access to the horn.

  5. Step 5

Locate the horn and wiring, which should be located inside the front bumper of the car, slightly above the area of the tire.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure that both stands are set to an equal height, so that the car is stable.
  • Park the vehicle on a solid, clean surface to avoid shifting or sliding.
  • Always consult your owner's manual for questions or concerns regarding your car.
  • Never climb under a car when it's jacked up. Jacks can be unsteady and can fall without warning.
  • Do not attempt to check the horn immediately after driving the car. Vehicle parts may be hot and cause burns.
