How to Get Dad A Cheap, Great and Quick Gift
Everyone gets crazy when we have to give gifts. Sometimes the best gifts are the ones you use some of your creativity and thought to give instead of your credit card.
Things You'll Need
- Think about the person you need a gift for and what they normally do.
- Once you figure out what they have been asking for the whole time, get it or do it.

Depending on your age and the age of the Dad you need to buy for, there are always the gifts you should get and the gifts that are easier to get. The tie, tool, and other stereotypical gifts always find there way into a box are great but don't show the thought needed. Here is a few unique ideas. If you are still at home, what does he yell at you to do? Take out the trash, clean your room, wash the cars, change his oil? ANYTHING YOU THINK OF IMMEDIATELY? My father used to yell about cleaning up. Just do it. The extra energy he will have by not nagging can be used doing something fun.

Next think about his personal situation. Is he on a budget? Get him groceries so he saves his cash for later. Is he paying crazy money for gas to get to work? Get a gas card. Does he need help with the yard and he won't admit it yet? Get him a gift certificate for a landscaper to mow or promise to do it yourself! Is one of his bills killing his budget(electric, gas, water, cable)? (This also works if you are always getting yelled at for taking long showers, it made my dad laugh) Pay a credit on the bill.

If none of these work yet...go with gift certificates to warehouses that have everything...Walmart, Kmart, Target, Home Depot, Menards, Costco, Sams Club, BJ Warehouse. And bookstores that have large ranges of topics help with projects he is currently working on. They can get what they want when they want it.
