How to make a myspace account

If you haven't noticed the new black is having a myspace. EVERYONE is on myspace, from celebrities, to singers, directors, models, your best friend, and maybe even your mom. So jump on the bandwagon! Let's get started.

Things You’ll Need:

• A nice picture on your computer
• the internet
• a working e-mail address.

1. First things first, head over to http://myspace.com and sign up for your account! Go through all the steps, get your e-mail verified and you have your account made.
2. Next you want to upload a picture of your fine self. Where your picture should be there is a button that says pictures: upload/edit. Click the upload picture. Upload as many as you want, get that straightened out. Pick your default, and make sure it's a nice one.
3. Now that you have a picture start editing the content! Pick you up a layout from somewhere like http://createblog.com or http://pimpmyspace.com. Stick the codes where it tells you to stick it and don't alter it unless you know what your doing!
4. Now that it looks nice, edit the stuff about you! Make it interesting. Don't make it so drab and boring that no one (even your friends) want to visit your myspace!
5. If you like music click the music button at the top of the page and find you a song by the artist of your choice and put it in your myspace. It gives your profile a little umph.

Tips & Warnings

• Try not to overload your page with cutesy images. It gets annoying after having to scroll for 10 minutes just to leave a comment.
• Don't have a layout that blinds you when you look at it!
• Don't give your password out to anyone. When you sign in or if it asks for your password look at the url box and make sure that it says http://myspace.com/.....
• Don't put personal information your page!
