There are plenty of things that you can cook on the grill. Grilled bananas are no exception to the variety. Served atop ice cream will set your mouth afire with flavor.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 2 bananas
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh mint
Step1
Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Spread the coals out to make a even cooking bed under the grilling rack.
Step2
Place the bananas on the grill peels and all. Turn from time to time to cook evenly. Peels will become black.
Step3
Remove the peel and slice. Serve over the top of vanilla ice cream and decorate with mint to garnish.

Tips & Warnings

  • This can be done with just about any fruit that has a thick outer coating or peel.
  • Never leave the grill unattended.
