How to Make Pineapple on the Grill

This recipe is a great addition to any meal. Use the pineapples to garnish or as a snack. Make them as hot or as mild as you like. The flavor will surround your tastebuds in a summer delight.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 fresh pineapple
  • 1/4 teaspoon honey
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • salt to taste
  1. Step 1

    If using fresh pineapple cut and core slicing into 1 inch rings or you can purchase precut in the can. Combine the ingredients above in a plastic bag.

  2. Step 2

    Place the pineapples inside the plastic bag and allow them to marinate in the refrigerator for an hour or more. Flip the bag over at least once during the marinating process.

  3. Step 3

    Preheat the grill to high heat and spray the rack with nonstick oil. Grill the pineapple pieces for 3 minutes and flip repeating on the reverse side. Serve hot or allow them to cool.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use as a topping for fried ice cream or with any cut of grilled meat.
  • Never leave the grill unattended.
