Everyone knows making to-do lists are a great way to organize your life, but writing them by hand usually leaves me unable to read what i wrote later. On the other hand, making them in word takes forever because i have to have the layout just right. Recently i figured out how to make lists online, and if works great! Here, I'll share my tips with all those other unorganized, messy hand writers of the world.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • a computer
  • a keyboard
  • about 5 minutes
  • a couple things you have to get done

Step1
#Find a great site that's easy to use and free. Here are some of my favorites: www.whimber.weebly.com (i use it in a hurry because the website is super easy to navigate) and www.tadalist.com (takes a little longer, and requires registration, but texts your lists to your phone).
Step2
#Use general ideas, such as wash the car instead of wash, buff, shine, and wax the car. When you're ready to wash you can make a separate checklist for these tasks to make reading your list easier.
Step3
#Remember to put a title on the top (www.whimber.weebly.com allows this)and the date so you know what the list is for.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure to throw out the list once you've completed the tasks, or once the tasks are no longer needed to help with confusion.
  • print out your list at 1/4 of its normal size. It will be easier to carry around this way.
