this article tells you how to remove the dashboard in a 2000-2005 chevy impala to replace the radio or any other parts that may need replacing that is in the console. first open both doors and remove the fuse box covers and unscrew the screws using a phillips head screwdriver. next go to drivers side and remove the two bolts out out the dash right where the odometer is(just feel up there). next below the steering wheel there is a flap that has to be moved just push in the clips and remove it. there is a screw right where the trunk button is so you have to remove that in order to get the dash out. once u haved moved that flap i told you about then there are two more screws to take out located right below the steering wheel about where your knees would be. the piece is long so be careful. tilt your steering wheel down so when u get ready to pull it out it won't hit it. unhook the trac off and hazard from their buttons and there u have it. shouldn't take any longer than 30 minutes to complete. and will save u some money in the long run.
