Peace and quiet: You must have a room in your house that is not effected by outside noise. Kids in the background while you are working are strictly forbidden.

on 7/1/2008 I love working from home! Something else I had to purchase when doing customer service from home was a hands free phone headset with noise reducing function. That way my hands were free for typing.
