Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Card (store-bought or homemade)
- Pictures
- Pen
Step1
Start by thinking about all the activities you've shared with your Dad. Pick a card that has to do with something related to those things you and your dad have done or still do together. If your dad helped you learn how to drive a car, if he played ball with you, or even drove you to all the places you wanted to go, try to personalize the card. Choose a card that highlights the important aspect of your relationship you have with him.
Step2
Making him a special homemade card can be fun also. Do you and your dad like to go fishing together? Create a card that looks like a fish and put some snap shots of the two of you catching that big one. Whatever it was that you and your dad did together and had a ball doing, you can use that to make him a neat card.
Step3
When writing a message on your card don’t just tell him how much you love him; tell him why you love him so much. You may want to say thank you for all the advice he has given you and how much that advice helped you along the way. Or write a happy memory you and your dad shared together.
Step4
Keep in mind that no matter if you give him a store-bought card or a homemade card your dad knows you remembered him on Father’s Day. Make him feel special and put a smile on his face. After all, we all only have one real dad in our life. Right?
