There are many ways to create a vision board, this is how I created mine.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A vision
  • Creativity
  • Time (about an hour or two)
  • A poster board - mine is red - I think it stands out more
  • Scissors
  • Pictures from magazines
  • Glue stick
  • Markers
  • Plain white paper
  1. Step 1

Go through all of the magazines and cut out pictures of what you'd like to receive or accomplish...Money, Dream Home, Dream Car, Dream Job, New Baby; whatever you want.

  2. Step 2

Put them all over the poster board however you want; don't glue them yet, just place them where you want them to be once you've glued them.

  3. Step 3

Using the markers write down what your vision is on the plain white paper. (Example - Dream Home, Dream Job, Dream Vacation) On another sheet of white paper you'll want to write down in words as if you've already received what it is you have a vision for. For example on my board it says 4,000 sq. ft. home, beneath that I have a picture of a beautiful home, beneath the picture it says I own this beautiful 4,000 sq. ft. home in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. You can play around with this...this is where the creativity comes in, have fun with it...It can be really fun.

  4. Step 4

After you've decided where to put your pictures and your words, you'll want to use the glue stick and paste them in place.

  5. Step 5

Focus on the board everyday as if you've already received what's on your board. Good luck

Tips & Warnings
  • Instead of using a poster board and glue, some people prefer to use a cork board with thumbtacks.
  • Instead of writing words using the white paper you can also cut out inspirational words from magazines as well, that will save you a little bit of time.
  • Whatever method you choose to use, use your vision board daily and visualize yourself living the way you want to be living.
