Here's a simple and clean way to store breast milk.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • breast milk bags
  • breast pump
  • twisty ties
  • freezer
  • permanent marker
  1. Step 1

Pump breast milk either directly into the milk storage bag.

  2. Step 2

    Remove bag from pump.

  3. Step 3

    Squeeze out excess air.

  4. Step 4

Roll the bag down bit by bit like you're sealing a coffee bag.

  5. Step 5

    Use twisty tie to tighten.

  6. Step 6

Label the bag with marker. Ensure you write the date and time. If you know one side of your breast produces more fatty milk than the other, you can also put this on the label for future reference. Breast milk can be kept in the freezer for up to 4 months. If there's a power outage, you should toss the milk out regardless.
