Going to the ATM is very convenience these days, and protecting yourself is really very important also. Learn to be safe and alert whenever you go out to deposit and withdrawal money from the ATM machine. And even more especially when withdrawing money.

Things You'll Need:

  • ATM Machine
  • ATM Card
  • Watching out for Strangers
  1. Step 1

    WHEN APPROACHING THE ATM = Be alert, look around.

    Leave immediately if you see or sense anything suspicious.

    Always have your Card in hand, ready to use.

  2. Step 2

    WHILE AT THE ATM = Use your body in shield at the ATM keyboard from another person's line of sight.

    Don't stop to count your money or expose it for others to see.

    Place all money into your pocket or purse immediately.

  3. Step 3

    WHEN LEAVING THE ATM = Remain alert, watch out for strangers who may approach or follow you.

    Keep safe distance between you and others, there are strangers out there just watching out for people who stop at the ATM machine to withdraw money.

    If someone follows you, go to the nearest populated place such as a store or restaurant.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use the telephone numbers listed on the front of the mailer to report a card lost or stolen.
  • The after hours telephone number is typically used only for reporting the card lost or stolen.
