Kids just love this snack, for its name and for its taste! Nuts and Bolts is also a big hit at any family get together, barbeque, football game party, or to snack on while watching a movie. It makes a wonderful alternative to potato chips...and healthier, too! Remember...old fashioned recipes are always the best!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 lb. organic butter
  • 1 pkg. Cheerios
  • 1 pkg. Rice Chex and 1 pkg. Corn Chex (or substitute Crispix)
  • 1 pkg. pretzel sticks
  • 1 pkg. Chinese crackers
  • 2 cans or 2 lg. pkgs. salted salted nuts (cashews)
  • 2 cans mixed nuts or peanuts
  • 1 Tbsp. seasoning salt
  • 1 Tbsp. smoke flavored salt
  • 1 tsp. marjoram
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. summer savory
  • 1 tsp. onion powder

Step1
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place cereals and pretzels in large baking pans.
Step2
Melt butter in saucepan and add all spices. Spoon evenly over cereals.
Step3
Bake for 45 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes. Store in cool place.
Serves: 8.
