From Quick Guide: Marketing Jobs
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Street Promoters
  • Computer
  • Internet
  • A product or service
  1. Step 1

Identify your target audience. Who will buy your product or be in need of your service? Based on who it is think about the best way to reach them. Senior citizens aren't going to be reached most often by email, they are in person types. However 14-18 year olds will be easily influenced by email marketing campaigns and promotional websites.

  2. Step 2

Consider what your niche is. This will be your selling point. What makes you stand apart from the rest? Also, what is your company identity? How do you want to be known? Think about all of this.

  3. Step 3

Decide the best way to allocate your budget. Do you need to pay for a web designer to build a site or should you spend that money on more flyers for street promoters to hand out? Select your target areas; web, email, direct mail, handing out flyers, promotions/contest and so on.

  4. Step 4

Hire individuals to carry out your plans. Whether these are college students passing out flyers to their friends at school, or associates attending networking events to meet business clients, choose wisely as well as cost effectively.

  5. Step 5

Begin your strategy and see how the first steps go. If they need revising after the first couple steps revise as needed. Good luck!
