Lego building blocks have been a favorite toy for children and adults for years. These simple blocks inspire creativity in kids and can help them learn basic math and physics through building. An integral part to the Lego playsets are the people. While they are made up of only three parts, they provide a human element to the block buildings and cities.

  • Lego People Parts

    How to Make Lego People

  1. Step 1

Locate all the necessary parts to build your Lego person. Generally, Lego people are made up of four basic parts: hair or hat, head, torso, and legs.

  2. Step 2

Decide how you want your Lego person to look. Choose the color pants, hair, and accessories you want your Lego person to have. Most Lego people have the same basic faces, but some Legos (especially in the specialty sets) have other features, such as facial hair, female faces, or even masks.

  3. Step 3

Snap Lego person pieces together. This is fairly simple, seeing as how each piece can only attach to another in one particular way. The biggest concern here is to make sure the hair or hat is on the right way, and that the torso is facing forward to match up with the legs.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use your imagination when switching around Lego people parts. You will have unlimited possibilities!
  • Make sure children are the appropriate age to play with Legos. Some small parts may be choking hazards.
