How to Watch a Netflix Movie Instantly on Your PC

Watch a movie on your computer with Netfix.

With a Netflix account, it is easy to watch movies online instantly on your computer instead of waiting for a DVD to arrive in the mail. Netflix movies can also be streamed to devices such as gaming consoles and Internet-connected televisions and Blu-Ray players. As of the time of publication, Netflix customers can choose mail DVD-only or streaming-only plans, or combine the two methods of delivery.

• A Netflix Account
• A PC (computer)
• About 3 gigabytes of free space

Instructions

1. Log in to your Netflix account. If it doesn't come up automatically, click the "Watch Instantly" tab.

2. Browse through the available selections or choose a genre to narrow the list. Hover over the movie image for a synopsis and the rating information, as well as the option to add the move to your instant queue.

3. Click the movie or television show you want to watch. The first time you watch an instant selection, your computer may need to download and install a plugin. Once this is complete, you will be able to watch your movie. You can pause, fast forward and rewind the movie. Some selections offer closed captioning or audio in another language.
