Make “WHAT DID YOU SAY!” PANCAKES

These pancakes are so filling and healthy that they can be had for breakfast, or as a snack or a light toddler meal. They can also be eaten cold. Healthy and nutritious, they will get any child to eat their veggies! Remember...old fashioned recipes are always the best!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 C organic whole wheat flour
  • ½ C organic all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder (aluminum-free)
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 C of finely organic chopped kale or spinach or other leafy green vegetables
  • 1 organic egg
  • ½ C organic milk
  • ½ C organic yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp. of vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. of honey
  1. Step 1

    In a bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and kale.

  2. Step 2

    Stir in the egg, milk, yogurt, vegetable oil, and honey.

  3. Step 3

    Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, on a skillet (until lightly brown and bubbly). Sit back and enjoy watching your picky eater eat disguised vegetables.
    Serves: 6-8
