1
Purchase fabric. You will use two layers of cotton flannel. You can save money buy using old flannel shirts rather than buying brand-new fabric.
-
2
Cut the fabric to the size of wipe you would like. Two popular sizes are an 8-inch by 8-inch square, or a 4-inch by 8-inch rectangle. It may be beneficial to have both sizes. The smaller size can handle small messes and the bigger size will take care of bigger issues.

Tips & Warnings
If you have a serger, you can make your cloth wipes look fancier, but it isn't necessary or required.
Remember that these are baby wipes, so you can use older fabric or material and it will work just fine.
For wetting your baby wipes, you can use a spray bottle filled with water and either spray the wipe, or spray the baby.
