Kenya is arguably one of the world’s most fantastic and adventurous safari destination. Going on a safari in Kenya is sure to be an interesting and fun travel adventure. But being prepared and aware of what to expect is essential in order to have a pleasant adventure.

  1. Step 1

    Read as much information as you can about the Kenyan region you are going to visit such as the wildlife, culture, political climate, weather conditions, and modes of transportation

  2. Step 2

    Plan your trip. You may wish to visit the main tourist attractions like the Masai Mara and the Amboseli National park. Verify that you have enough time to visit all your destinations and that transportation can meet your needs.

  3. Step 3

    Research and contact travel agents specializing in Kenyan Safaris. Usually they have group packages which work out cheaper.These include hotels, transportation a guide and so on.

  4. Step 4

    Visit your doctor for a complete medical check-up and perhaps a dental check-up before going on your safari. Find out from your doctor if you will need any vaccines for your travel.   • Take anti-malarials from the destination which is Kenya. They are designed to work better and fend off malaria. Getting malaria on your journey can be very devastating and leave you very weak.
