How to Order Checks by Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart is one of the most well known retail stores in the world. It has been stated that a consumer can find anything they need at Wal-Mart. If you are looking to order new checks, Wal-Mart can save you money. Consumers know that banks typically charge outrageous fees for check orders. Wal-Mart can meet this need at a reduced cost and you can order the checks from the comfort of your own home. Read on to learn how to order checks by Wal-Mart.

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet connection
  • Checking account information
  • Current check
  1. Step 1

    Launch your Internet browser and load the Wal-Mart website.

  2. Step 2

    Select the “Money Services” link from the menu bar. It is found in the "Services" section of the menu.

  3. Step 3

    Click on “Check Printing” from the Shop Wal-Mart Moneycenter menu.

  4. Step 4

    Browse through all of the check options shown on the following screen. You can choose from a variety of business and personal check designs or custom order photo checks. Use the menu options to browse all of your options. You will also be given the option to order matching labels and a matching checkbook cover. Once you have selected your design, click on it to be brought to the next screen.

  5. Step 5

    Read the availability information. Most check orders will be processed in one to two business days. Also browse the additional options available for your check design.

  6. Step 6

    Select whether you want duplicates or singles and the box size from the drop-down menu. Once you have selected your option, click on the “Add to Cart” button.

  7. Step 7

    Verify that the check order entered in your shopping cart is correct. You can either choose to continue shopping or proceed to the checkout if your order is complete. Once you have added everything to your cart that you will be ordering, click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button.

  8. Step 8

    Enter all of the requested information on the following screen. You will need to ensure that the “Customer Name” field matches what is on your checking account exactly. After you have entered all of the required information, choose a shipping method and then click on the “Continue” button.

  9. Step 9

    Confirm the address information provided on the following screen. You can either select the Post Office default address or the one that you entered. Click on “Continue” to enter your bank account information.

  10. Step 10

    Input the requested information about your checking account. You will start by entering all of the numbers that currently appear at the bottom of your check and then separately enter your routing number, checking account number and the check number that you would like your check order to start with.

  11. Step 11

    Proceed down through the form and enter the bank information and then add any customization options that you would like.

  12. Step 12

    Preview the check by clicking on the “Preview” button. Once your check appears as you would like, click on the checkbox to apply the personalization and then click on “Approve.”

  13. Step 13

    Confirm the data listed on the following screen and then click on “Approve.”

  14. Step 14

    Enter your payment information as well as account authorization.Click on “Place Order.”

  15. Step 15

    Save a copy of the receipt for your files.

Tips & Warnings
  • Due to the sensitive nature of this order, do not use a public computer to process your check order from Wal-Mart's website.
