Add some life to your dollhouse and add a potted tree. Here's how it's done.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Metal bottle lid
  • Aluminum foil
  • Soil
  • Straight twig
  • Twig with several tiny branches sticking out of it
  • Green construction paper
  • Glue

    Dollhouse Summer Tree

  1. Step 1

    Take a metal bottle lid and wrap aluminum foil completely around it, preserving its form.

  2. Step 2

    Fill the foil-wrapped metal bottle lid 2/3 full of real soil.

  3. Step 3

    Insert a 4-inch-tall twig firmly into the soil so that it is perfectly straight up.

  4. Step 4

    Cut a treetop shape out of green construction paper.

  5. Step 5

    Use glue to attach the treetop to the twig, then allow it to dry. Place the tree in the dollhouse with the full twig side facing the wall.

  7. Step 1

    Take a metal bottle lid and wrap aluminum foil completely around it, preserving its form.

  8. Step 2

    Fill the foil-wrapped metal bottle lid 2/3 full of real soil.

  9. Step 3

    Insert a 4-inch-tall twig with several tiny branches sticking out of it firmly into the soil, so that it is perfectly straight up. Place it in your dollhouse.
