When you're invited out to the local bar by a group of friends, you may not know what to wear in order to fit in. While you don't want to be overdressed, you still want to look your best. Follow these easy steps to dress to go to your local bar.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 pair of dark jeans
  • 1 T-shirt
  • 1 pair of sneakers
  1. Step 1

Put on a pair of dark denim jeans to go to the local bar in. The jeans should fit you perfectly so that they flatter your figure. A dark denim gives the impression of dressing up without going overboard for the local bar.

  2. Step 2

Put on a solid color T-shirt. Solid colors work best when you are going to a local bar. You don't want some drunk stopping you to read the saying on your T-shirt as you walk by.

  3. Step 3

Wear sneakers and socks to go to your local bar. As tempting as it may be to wear a nicer pair of shoes, don't . The floors at your local bar are sticky for a reason. Everyone spills a drink or two on them and your shoes. Save your better shoes for a nicer place.

Tips & Warnings
  • Choose a bright color T-shirt to wear so that you stand out in the dark bar. If the weather is warm, substitute a tank top.
  • It may be a local bar, but always dress to impress. You never know who you may run into there.
