How to Make Lipstick Last All Day

You applied lipstick only to see it come off on the cup after the first sip of your morning coffee. Follow these steps to make your lipstick last all day.

Things You'll Need

• 1 well lit mirror
• 1 tube of lipstick
• 1 lip liner
• 1 container loose face powder
• 1 large powder brush
• 1 box tissues

Instructions

Make Your Lipstick Last All Day

1. Apply a neutral shade of lip liner to your lips to start the process. Fill in your entire lip with the lip liner. This will give the lipstick something to hold onto to help it last all day.

2. Apply the lipstick to your lips. Take a tissue and press it to your lips to remove any excess lipstick. Reapply lipstick to lips. This will build up the color.

3. Apply loose powder over your lips with the large powder brush. You will only want to apply a very light layer of powder. This will set your lipstick to make it last all day.

4. Wipe any excess powder off your lips with a tissue.

Tips & Warnings

• Matte lipstick will work best with this application to make it last all day.

• Do not use glossy finished lipsticks with this. The powder will make them look cakey.

• Moisturize your lips every night. Lipstick can dry out your lips over long periods of time.
