Things You'll Need:
- Palms
- Good eyesight
-
Step 1
Turn your hand or someone else's hand palm-up. If possible, face the hand so that you have an upright perspective. It will help you when reading this guide. Eventually you will be able to read palms upside down.
-
Step 2
Gaze down and locate the line that generally arcs around the thumb and thumb joint. This is the life line. Many times it forms a moon shape, but it could also be straight and broken.
-
Step 3
Determine what shape the line is, if it is deep, and if it is long. Long lines mean a long life. Deep lines represent vitality, and a semi-circle line means you are full of enthusiasm. If the line is straight, you are cautious, and if it is a broken line, your health is in jeopardy.
-
Step 4
Look for your head line. This is one of the other more prominent lines on the palm. It generally begins 1/3 way down your palm on the side of the index finger. Sometimes this line meets up with the life line, sometimes it does not.
-
Step 5
Analyze this line. Straight head lines reflect a logical person, while a curved head line represents creativity. If there is space between your head line and your life line, it means you are very lucky. If the line is deep, and easy to see, you have a great memory.
-
Step 6
Look above the head line for the love line. Most of the time, the love line curves up towards the fingers. It could be deeper or it could be more difficult to see than the head line.
-
Step 7
Determine where the love line begins. Does it begin under the index finger, the middle finger, or in between the two. The middle finger represents selfish love. The index finger represents stable love, and in between the two represents falling in love easily.
