Nausea and dizziness are two miserable symptoms that are associated with a number of common maladies, including migraines, colds, flu and food sickness. Fortunately, there are easy homeopathic treatments to help combat these two feelings. It is important to note that not all treatments work universally, so if something doesn't seem to help your sickness, try another treatment method.

Ginger

...

Ginger is one of the most widely accepted homeopathic cures for nausea and it is easy to find pleasure in ingesting ginger in one form or another. You can have gingerbread, gingersnaps, ginger tea, pickled ginger, crystallized ginger or even purchase ginger capsules if you don't like the flavor of ginger. Ginger ale may be used for treatment as well, but only if the brew actually has ginger listed as an ingredient, as many companies resort to artificial flavoring.

Green tea

...

Green tea is widely used to help cure nausea, particularly in Eastern countries. Unfortunately, some people may find it actually increases their nausea. If you would like to experiment with green tea treatment, do not brew the tea too strong and add a few ice cubes to your glass before drinking, as cool liquids are easier to digest for upset stomachs.

High Carb Foods

...

If you are feeling well enough to eat, the best thing for an upset stomach is bland, high carbohydrate foods. Although these are not the most delicious things to eat, they can help fill you up and will not further upset your stomach. If your nausea is related to food poisoning or alcohol consumption, these foods may even help absorb some of the remaining toxins in your stomach. Stick with simple carbs like pasta, toast and Saltines. Watch out for buttery toast or Ritz crackers, as dairy can actually increase nausea.

Cold compress

...

While a cold compress generally cannot help cure nausea, it may help reduce dizziness. Simply take a compress, wrap it in a towel and then place it on the back of the neck or on the forehead. If you do not have a cold compress on hand, you can also use a bag of frozen vegetables or a sandwich bag full of ice.

Lay Down

...

If you can sleep, try to do so. If not, you should still relax and lay down. The more you move around while feeling noxious and dizzy, the more the symptoms will be agitated. Occasionally people feel the symptoms more when they lay down than when they sit, so do whatever feels more comfortable to you. Either way, try to avoid standing up and walking as much as possible.

Herbal teas

...

A variety of herbal teas are recommended for nausea, but the effectiveness of each depends largely on the individual taking them. If one herbal tea doesn't work for you, move on to another. Recommended ingredients for herbal teas include chamomile, cinnamon, fennel seeds, peppermint leaves and anise seeds. Once the tea is brewed, add in a few ice cubes to make it easier on your stomach.

Lemon

...

Some people feel better just by smelling a lemon. If you cut open a lemon and start to feel relief, try making lemon tea or just squeeze some lemon juice into a cup of water and enjoy.
