1. Buy flowers wholesale. There are many shops out there that carry wholesale flowers. Some of these are open to the public. You just have to search around and find one. These wholesale shops are a lot cheaper than than going to a specialty store. Make sure to buy in bulk, as this will save you money. You can make all of your arrangements and bouquets.

2. Take pictures with disposable cameras. These cameras can be passed out to guests as they arrive for the wedding. If you hire a professional photographer then you are only getting one person's view of the wedding. When you have 40 or 50 guests you are getting many different points of view of the wedding. Make sure that the guests save film for the reception and the bridal party.

3. Shop around to find that perfect dress. Most bridal shops offer great sales at different times and you can also find great deals on renting tuxedos. Look as far in advance as possible this way you will have more options to choose from.

4. Find the perfect location. Ask to friends and family for ideas. A nice house of someone you know is a great idea. You can also rent out a section of your favorite park for really cheap. There are some halls that are nice, but they are generally more expensive. The more money you save here you can take on your honeymoon.

5. Cook the wedding food yourself. Have friends and family help you. This will cut down on your catering costs and you will be able to choose what you want to have at the wedding. If you recruit some people to cook one or two dishes then the food will be taken care of.
