1
Meditate frequently. Try to find a quiet and peaceful location where you will be completely free of distractions and meditate for an hour each day. Visualize yourself as beginning to levitate, and feel yourself inching off the ground. One popular technique is to visualize your hands becoming as big as basketballs that are weightless and starting to float, then progress to also having the rest of your body float. Continue meditating like this each day until your mind reaches a point where your concentration is focused enough to bring on a state of levitation.

Decide whether or not you would like to introduce psychotropic drugs into your flying spell. Most flying spells used during the 17th Century involved using a “flying ointment” that was made from Belladonna, or Deadly Nightshade. This ointment would create hallucinations that seemed as though the one using the ointment was both flying, and moving through space exceptionally fast. All parts of the plant are extremely toxic, however, and even a small portion can be lethal to humans. Because it is one of the most toxic plants in North America, it is highly recommended that you do not try to create this flying ointment.

Research pagan literature to locate additional flying spells. Try the spells during the time of the full moon, when gravitational forces are reacting to your body differently than they normally do. The right flying spell, cast at the right time, could very well have you zipping through the air before you know it.

Tips & Warnings
Keep Belladonna out of reach of children. As few as three of the plant’s sweet berries are enough to be fatal, and handling the leaves can cause pus filled blisters to appear on the hands. The root is the most toxic part of the plant.
