A cricket match is being handled by two umpires.They must give an indication when a player is overstepping the mark when he lands the ball in front of the batsmen. The umpire must also raise his finger when a player is run out or when he is being stumped.If the umpire is not sure which decision he must make he can consult the television match official.The umpire must also give an indication with his arms when a batsmen hit a four or a six to enable the scoreboard keeper to add the right runs. The two umpires can also make a decision to stop a match in the case of bad light or rain.
